I knew Mike for many years - as a friend and colleague in St John and through the Community Responder Team at Bexhill. Mike wore many hats that showed what a kind and caring man he was (Police, St John, CFR); it was Mike's determination and hard work that enhanced the St John unit in Bexhill and set up the CFR team in the Bexhill Area; not forgetting the many Public Access Defibrillator sites that Mike secured for Bexhill and Rother.
